Kids Help Phone provides free, anonymous, 24/7 non-judgmental phone and live chat counselling to kids and teens under 20 all across Canada. The KHP promise is that everything you tell them is anonymous, meaning you don't have to tell them who you are or where you live, and anything you talk about is confidential and safe.
Good 2 Talk is a free and confidential mental health service for college and university students. Good 2 Talk connects callers with professional counselling, mental health information and local support resources. Services are available in both English and French.

YLC is made up of a concerned group of people from all walks of life who have come together to affirm to youth and families that their lives count. YLC has existed since 2000 and has a mission statement of "Helping Youth and Families to Nurture, Protect and Sustain Their Will to Live." Their website provides things like crisis line contact information, suicide prevention tools and bullying resources.
This website serves as an online information and resource hub for suicide prevention. It answers questions like, "Why do youth attempt suicide?" and "What can youth do to help?"
If you are 18 or under and want to promote mental health, you can apply to the Dare to Dream program to get $5000 to bring your ideas to life! You’ll need an idea that brings awareness to child and youth mental health or aims to decrease stigma around mental illness. For example, it could be anything from a mental health awareness week, a wellness event, teaching how to de-stress, creating a movie, whatever! Be as creative as you can. Dealing with Depression (DWD) is an interactive and hands-on tool for youth coping with depression. It provides information about depression as well as skills and goal setting resources and information about drugs and alcohol, eating and exercise.
