Youth Support Group:
This is a support group for youth and young adults aged 16 - 30 affected by a mood disorder.

Meets every Wednesday, 7:00 pm to 8:50 pm
Youth and Young Adults Online Support Group:
This board is for those who identify as youth or young adults experiencing challenges with mood disorders and related issues. Online Support Group

CMHA Youth Net is a “by youth for youth” program that generates mental health awareness, promotes resiliency and connects youth to information and services.
Who can benefit? Anyone 12-20 years old who resides in Peel Region.

Programs Available:
Peer Support and Focus Groups – providing opportunities for youth to discuss mental health, stress and coping strategies with peers in a confidential, open and non-judgemental environment.

Information, referral and short-term support- to youth experiencing mental health concerns.

Workshop Series – building awareness, strengths and coping skills through creativity or discussion, including Guys Talk and Girls Talk groups.
ā
Presentations and community Displays – sharing information about mental health and related services, including mental health concerns such as: mental illness and youth, eating disorders and stress.

Al-teen is a place where members come together to: share experiences, strength, and hope with each other to find effective ways to cope with problems, discuss difficulties and encourage one another. Help each other understand the principles of the Al-Anon program through the use of the Twelve Steps and Alateen’s Twelve Traditions.

Al-Teen Programs Available:
Chat live with other teens! Young people aged 13 to 18 who have been affected by someone else’s drinking are invited to share experience, strength, and hope with other teens. Chat meetings are moderated, and teens can only chat when the adult Alateen Group Sponsors are present. At this time, chat meetings can only be accessed on a computer (rather than on mobile devices).
